Advanced Memory Systems.
In 1969, Advanced Memory Systems developed the first integrated circuit containing 1,024 bits (one kilobit, or 1 Kb) of dynamic random access memory chip. The Wall Street firm of Philips, Appel & Walden considered underwriting the initial public offering of Advanced Memory Systems. I evaluated the technology of Advanced Memory Systems on behalf of Philips, Appel & Walden.
